Good, not great. Convenient plot devices are used in place of character development, and as with the other Rutherford story I have read, it's about an old writer (actual age not given, but at least 50, based on description and comments about the 80s) who finds a 19 year old stranger who cries for no reason and they end up in bed together. I see he has a handful of other stories, including at least one more about a 'novelist' falling for a teen. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Similar plot to The Boy Upstairs, but better-written.
