    The Ruler is Back!

Jay-Z's fourth LP The Blueprint is quite possibly his best yet, and one of the most confident and self-assured rap albums of all time. It's opener, The Ruler's Back, ignites with trumpets, signalling the return of "Jay Hova". Other standouts include the tear-jerking Song Cry, the uplifting Heart of the City and the hyper-confident Takeover, in which Jay boasts, "If I ain't better than Big, I'm the closest one." But what is by far the standout track is the Eminem-produced Renagade, a hauntingly beautiful, adrenaline-pumped and lyrically perfect gothic production, and proves to be one of the best projects both Jay-Z and Eminem have been involved with. If there's a fault with The Blueprint, it's the extensive and irritating over-plugging of his label Roc-A-Fella, but apart from that this is a near-perfect project and it was by far the best rap album of 2001.

    The Blueprint

The Blueprint was hot it was one of his hottest albums Jay Z has come out with since his old one The Hard Knock Life Volume 2. Girls, Girls, Girls, was the best track because the beat makes you just want to spit a verse and the lyrics make you say that¿s tight once you hear what he said. Izzo was also one of the best tracks on the album because it brought praise to all that Jay z has accomplished not coming from that much and now being one of the rap games hardest hitting and lyrically profound rappers.

    its all bout tha jigger

jay is back with a bang and he continues to show that he is the biggest name in hiphop at the moment he is basically holding up the rap game single handedly.

    His Inspiration Falls

it starts out hella tight, reminiscent of Volumes 2 and 3, but then just drolls onto the same basic beat for about the last 6 songs w/the exception of #11, but still a good overall album, madd beats on the first 7 tracks

Jigga is tight but ...Nas always brimgs it hard!

The songs are really original except for the fact most of them are dubbed from an older track and looped. My joint though is Girs,Girls,Girls. And the remix is hot.He and Nas are gonna have good record sales with this on wax beef.Round 1: Jay-Z Round 2: Nas gonna take it to Jay's chin. Watch.

    HOVA's back

I was a little worried about Jigga after the dissappointing ''Roc La Familia''. What's nice about this CD is that this is a solo record, not a compilation, as many other hip-hop records have become.
