If you like the Tudor dynasty as I do you might think that this is the book for you...but unfortunately it's not. I loved the premise but felt that something fell flat in the execution of the story. The ending unexpected had a nice twist but I don't feel that it was true to character (don't want to spoil anything). I think with some tweaking and modifications this could have been a fantastic book. I gave it a 3 star writing based on that rather than the characters and style of writing.

    Good Idea But

The idea was good, but the story was filled with contradictions, mis spellings, grammar errors and bad writing. The ending came out of no where and made little sense. While it's ok to have characters that are flawed and aren't 'perfect' or 'likable' (such as Scarlett O'Hara and Ashley Wilkes of Gone with the Wind fame)not a single character in this story is redeemable nor likable. The main heroine is vain and obnoxious, and if I read one more time how 'beautiful and desirable' she was, I would have tossed my beloved Nook across the room. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and that made the story ridiculous to me.
