I'm holding it as I type

This is one of my favorite fairy tale books. I never had the patience to read it a day at a time, but oh well. The copy I'm holding is so beat up I'm afraid it will fall apart. That's how loved it is. My favorite story is One Eye, Two Eyes, Three Eyes.

The most important book my parents ever read to me

Every night my father would read to me, he'd always finish with the story for that day, and it was that story that would make going to bed okay. Not to mention the special treat of the story on my birthday! Now I'm buying this for my baby, I can't wait to read to him every night, and hopfully begin his love of literature with it, as it did with me.

A BOOK THAT EVERY CHILD WILL ONE DAY THANK YOU FOR BUYING

I HONESTLY ADORE THIS BOOK. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER READING THE AWESOME STORIES TO MYSELF AND MY LITTLE SISTER. NEITHER OF US EVER GOT SCARED OF ANY OF THE STORIES.BUT THEN , WE WERE SMART KIDS. WE KNEW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REAL AND FANTASY.I THINK THAT ANY REASONABLY BRIGHT CHILD WILL ALSO UNDERSTAND. I THINK THE PROBLEM IS THAT SOME PARENTS ARE READING WAY MORE INTO THE STORIES THAN ANY CHILD WOULD.I LOVED EVERY STORY I EVER READ IN THIS WONDERFUL BOOK.

    Favorite from Childhood

I love this book! I remember my mother reading it to me and my siblings every night and not being able to wait until the next night for the continuation of a great story. I highly reccomend this for everyone and am purchasing it now for my son.
