Excellent book for people interested in Judaism or Ethics

I am currently studying for conversion to Judaism, and I began reading this book a few months ago. There is one lesson each day for a year, and they are all eye-opening and useful for everyday life. I have been keeping myself to the one-a-day pace, in order to fully contemplate the value of the lessons. It would, however, also be enjoyable to read in one sitting. I am currently taking a college ethics class, and the lessons in this book tie in with the basic ethics we are learning in school. The Book of Jewish Values contains wisdom that is relevant to all people, not just Jews. In our hurried, self-centered society, a true reading of this book can help an individual begin to lead a kind and considerate life.

    Great for children too!

I teach my children at home and this is a valuable book for everday teaching particularly around the table. I have found it lays great ground for discussion and for sharing of experiences. I wholeheartedly endorse it. Rabbi Telushkin has done it again!
