Here's the thing, I downloaded the .pdf version from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint's website, but I found it unwieldy and hard to work with. So, when I discovered that, for a small sum, I could download the Book of Mormon from the Barnes and Noble website, I was pleased. However, it's still unwieldy and hard to work with.

This leads me to a conundrum. How do I rate what I believe to be holy scripture? The content is good, just finding it is difficult. If there is a way to go to a specific chapter and verse without a lot of clicking, I haven't found it. I wasn't expecting cross references or foot-notes, but I'm surprised at how much I miss them.

Bottom line, I'm glad I have this for, say, when I'm traveling, so I don't have to weigh my bags down with extra books--I mean, that's the whole purpose behind buying a nook in the first place, right? But for Church, or my every day study, I'm going to stick with my old dead tree version.

THIS IS THE FREE VERSION FROM GUTENBURG

Do not give these people money for this book, you can download the same version from gutenberg for free. It is even stated on the first page when you download the sample from BN.

    Amasing

Read it again and again and you will learn more every time. It is the most true book ever written and is a guide to your life. If you disagree i challenge you to prove anything wrong and post it.

Not my favorite in e-book format

The e-book format is a little difficult for this book. Also, you can't highlight scriptures, which is a benefit of the hard copy. Still great to have at my fingertips though!
And if you're interested in this book, you can also request a free hard copy from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

    Some Respect Please

Morminism is not a cult. I myself am not mormon, but I have a great friend who is. It's a branch of christanity like protastants or methodists. They deserve our respect as do people do of all religions. Be respectful, they're not posting mean things on the bible review page.

    Awesome

I just started Young Woman and i know without a shadow of a doubt that this book is true. The Book of Mormon is a TRUE testament of Christ. I beg anyone who hasent read to PLEASE read it, LDS or not. It is awesome. Jesus Christ WAS here on Earth. Heavenly Father WAS his father. The Holy Ghost WAS and IS here on Earth with him and with us! They were all different beings. Read when Jesus was baptised. They are here for us. Dont believe me? Pray. God will answer.

    To the people below

Immature people! All the haters r like the teenage boys who go to youtube videos just to write crap and get attention. Have u even read it? Do u even know what its about? And for all of u who call joseph smith a liar cuz hes just a "regular human" are just dumb cuz there are plenty of those in the bible. Theyre called prophets. Please be respectful to the book and quit writing poor reviews before u even read it.

    Love book of mormon

If you are a different relgion and say that mormons are wierd and other mean things we're not. Most relgions believe in god so just respect what people believe. The book of mormon will change you. If you have read the book of mormon and you liked it please be baptized and become a member of the mormon church. I am a mormon and love going to church and reading my book of mormon. If mormon missionaries knock on your door invite them in to teach you about the gospel and Joseph Smith. I am giving you some pretty good advice. I do believe in god and his son jesus christ and in the first prophet Joseph Smith. You will love going to church every sunday and getting to learn about the gospel. Please purchase the book and read. Thank you for reading my comment about the book of mormon. :D
