a great read in this triology
You will not be disappointed when you read this triology. I am usually one of those readers that read a lot of thug books. I have now found e something new to read now.

Midnight Reader of Historical Romance
I was pretty skeptical when I first read the description of The Bride Finder, but I decided to give Susan Carroll the benefit of the doubt. I was not at all disappointed! She wrote the book in such a way that was easy for the reader to feel what the characters were feeling. I got sucked in by the story of Anatole and Madeline and I just couldn't put the book down until I was done reading. It was very enjoyable and entertaining enough to get me to read the other St. Leger books!

She really knows how to write a love story. I like Midnight Bride better but all her books are wonderful.

I love how Carrol always makes the woman the hero and Madeline is one of my favorite heroines out of all of Carrol's novels.

Another Entralling Love Story!
There are many parts in which you can't put the book down, you just can't. You have to know what happens next, even if it's bedtime and you have to tape your eyes open to read it ) The chemistry between Madeline and Anatole starts out weak, but as frustrations grow so does the romance until it bursts upon them like the magic that was meant to be or was it? Don't want to spoil it for you. Madeline is a strong heroine, but demur. Anatole is the strong, big- headed warrior type with that soft kind of heart inside. Susan Carroll has a way with words that makes it easy to envision yourself in the characters shoes! The ride she takes you on is quite amazing. It's almost uncomparable!

Good, different, interesting
The heroine was weak, ambivalent and wishy washy to me. For me, there just wasn't that much chemistry between Madeline & Anatole. I found myself having more sympathy with the wronged Mortmains and Roman. But the storyline and world Carroll creates is very interesting and unique.

The wonder of 'True' love is exceptional.......
I was spell bound throughout the whole book. Anatole and Madeline's love holds on to you until the very end. Life's unexpected turns keep you at the edge of your seat. I will totally enjoy reading more of the Anatole and Madeline's Family history to come. Thank you for an enjoyable escape.

Wonderful read
I love books with a 'magical' element and Susan Carroll did a wonderful job bringing this to life. The characters were so real. I couldn't put this book down.
