    Camel Club

I really liked this series. An odd bunch of guys doing stuff behind the scenes in the fight against terrorism. Neat concept that I think works well. Good characters and a plausible story line that continues through the three books. If you like trilogies you will really like these books.

    Absolutely Fantastic!

I'd never heard of David Baldacci or his books before I picked up this audio book. Quite frankly I only got it because I got 3 audio books for the price of one or two. But it turned out to be fantastic! The characters are endearing and I can't wait to read #4 & #5! My only issue is the description of the characters changed slightly depending on which audio book I was listening to. The books are read by different people which completely threw me cause I would get used to "Kaleb" one of the characters being English and then in the next book he wasn't...WEIRD!!! But I still gave it five stars cause the writing is truly awesome. I highly recommend!

    I Also Recommend:

What an incredible, gripping set of audio books!

In my opinion, David Baldacci is the quintessential political drama writer. I had already read the books, and I could not resist buying the audio books for a long car trip. I have been so engrossed, that I continued listening anytime I could when I had already arrived at my destination! When I started home, the cd's were already loaded and ready to listen. Just great!

    Great Character Build-Up

I love the cast of characters and their development in this series. The audio book is paced very well, has a good plot, and great narration. I am anxious to hear the next in this series.

    more from this reviewer

Camel Club great on the road.

This collection of three audio books is entertaining and engaging. It is not great literature, but it does make the commute lots more fun. The characters are interesting and different as is the premise: all three novels involve a merry band of conspiracy theory nuts who each have a different strength and unique shortcomings. They are, of course, a loveable bunch and the reader really cares what happens to them.

The fact that each of the three novels is narrated by a different voice is very distracting and takes some getting used to. One even includes two voices: a man's for most of the narration, but a woman's for a particular character. Once I got used to it, it was okay, but it took a while.

All in all, these novel provide a pleasant diversion and a few things to think about after you get to work.
