Second book in the Candy Shop War series the Arcade Catastrophe is like Candy Shop War on steroids. More kids gain fantastic magical powers to save the world from an even worse evil magician who has all types of freaky sidekicks.

Mozag and John Dart disappear which is bad news for the magical community. A new threat appears in the form of Arcadeland. Kids and teens are spending all their time and savings to earn one of four stamps: a submarine, a jet, a racecar, or a tank. Nate and his friends use magical gum to enhance their skills and earn the stamps in record time. After earning spots in each stamp group the kids learn that the group must compete against each other in quests to the final goal—one super powerful group of four kids who will retrieve an object with undreamed of power.
