The Captive (Part 2) and The Power (Secret Circle Series #2-3)

LJ Smith and soulmates

I started off reading the vampire diaries and ABSOLUTLY fell in love with LJs writting! no matter how much i wanted to i couldn't stop reading and i was hooked on her every word. i wanted to read more of her other books and that's when i found Night World and even though they're things i would usally pick up at first glance, i saw the name and KNEW i had to have it. then i read this. It was one THE most amazing books i've read. I kinda wish she would of stayed with Nick, but that's probably because, in my opinion, spent more time describing him instead of Adam, but him and Cassie were trying to stay away from each other so i understand the difficulty. I also seem to notice that the author likes the idea of soul mates, i wonder if in the Vampire Diaries Stephan and Elena were soulmates?

Glad to see it reprinted.

I first read The Secret Circle back in 2001 or so when I first got into L.J. Smith. I have to admit, when I first read the series, I thought the book and plot was somewhat lacking and boring, but that has definitely changed as soon as I bought the reprinted versions as my views on it has changed. It's getting close to becoming more of my favorite L.J. Smith series alongside Night World and Forbidden Game.

This Book was great! I really Love this author.
L.J. Smith is very interesting she makes you Love
the characters.I hope she comes out with a book 3.
I couldn't put the book down. I read both books in
about 3 days. I also loved her series night world,
I can't wait for more of her books.

Amazing

I read it in 2 nights and couldnt put it down.. i didnt even realize there is a third book until i was done ..now i have to wait untili get the next one in. And now i just saw there is another coming out in 2012!! My life is complete again!! I hope you enjoy it

Great Book

I loved this book but the ending ticked me off. I never really liked Adam but i loved Nick. I wish she'd ended up with him instead, but of course that wouldnt happen because she was ment for Adam *blah*. Overall it was a great book though. I actually liked the main character unlike some other series ive read were the main character is stuck up and thinks to much of herself. She was actually relatable, and seemed to be developed well throughout the story.

a great ending

i love this series. it had a great ending although i would have liked that it had more to it . cause in the end cassie becomes the leader of the coven and her and adam end up together there could have been a little more to than that. but other than that it was a wonderful story and i wish l.j.smith would continue it.

A great book! is it the last one of the secret circle series????

This was one of the BEST books i have read. Is it the last in the series??? I realllllly hope not. i recomend this book.

Magical :)

This series was amazing. THe new girl getting into the scarey in crowd adn finding shes a witch. Its emotional, thrilling and mgical. Its a must read!!!

a circle

I just think that l. smith is a wonderful writer... I had to say thank you for all the books.. I buy them as they come out.. LOVE THEM ALL... the night world series is wonderful and the secret circle is the best... love the ending.. the vampire diaries started it all and cannot wait for the rest of her books to come out :)

couldnt believe it

i read these books years ago, back in high school, and i couldnt believe it when i saw them!!!! i already owned the 1st two books, the original prints, but i had to get the last. it was kinda annoying they broke them up into two books though. now i have two copys of the last part of book two!!! i had to skip the first 128 pages of the new book!!! but i finally got the whole series so it was worth it.

L.J. Smith ROCKS!!!

The first book of the Secret Circle was great, and I can't wait to read this one. I was to see if Faye is going to end up being the one who caused the murders, and what will happen between Cassie and Adam, and if Diana will find out about them. I'll be counting down the day til this comes out!

Loved it but

I liked i did not like it because Dianna gives up being the leader and has to give up Adam how dare Cassie steal dont like her in the books but love her in the show Diana is still my favorite charcter love the books so much have no regrets!

A must read

Read the four books because I liked the show on tv but wanted more info on where the story was going.loved the books but now I am mad at the tv show it is nothing like the book but it is still good this is more of a teen read but lately I like those more then the over sexed aldult books

Don't complain about the tv series!!!. Havn't you seen the other tv series based on books? They're never exactly like the book or else the readers of the book will know exactly what'll happen and it'll be boring and uninteresting. They like to change it up a little. Plus they say the tv series is BASED on the book. One of my FAVORITE shows.

READ THE BOOKS,BEFORE WATCHING THE TV SERIES You'll appreciate the BOOKS more! I've watched the TV series and frankly... I'm upset with the screenwriter! It takes 12 witches to complete a circle and Nick doesn't die! The books expresses their passion for being a witch, fulfilling their exciting adventure, challenges they must face, and most importantly, finding love.
