I disagree with the criticism that this collection fails because it's a "mixed bag" of old and new music. I find that's what makes it so exceptional. The contrast of the various selections make it anything but monotonous. Just as you might be tiring of a certain theme, you find something entirely different. There's only one selection on this 31-track CD I don't particularly care for, which is remarkable in itself. It's wonderful mood music under any circumstances, but if you have a good sound system, this collection will absolutely blow you away.

You get a mix of both insturmental and vocal songs as you buy this excellent CD! If I knew that Celtic music was so great, I would've bought it years ago! The only bad thing is the the 2 CD thing. The best songs are the vocal ones.

This is a great CD. The music is very calming and mysterious. It can bring your back to a world that is almost lost in our modern world.
