Happily this book, one of the 30 Minute Expert series by Garamond Press, was a pretty quick read even for the novice salesman or lay man. Also, it covers all of the pertinent points and effectively summarizes the work of Matthew Dixon and Brent Adamson. The jargon that characterizes this field was defined and explained very well in the section labeled Key Terms. For a salesperson or manager looking to improve performance and outcome in the B2B (business to business) marketplace, this book is an extremely adequate guide and could certainly be accomplished in the thirty minute time frame. It is very comprehensive, offers a great deal of information, and wets the appetite for further reading on the subject.

The Challenger Sale… in 30 minutes gives an overview of and explains the key concepts brought up in the original work. In addition this book includes a brief but effective introduction which brings the reader into the discussion and controversy surrounding the original. In a very short time anyone can become versed in both the benefits of and tools to the paradigm shift proposed by the original authors.
