Great book--my 5 year old loves it.

I mistakenly bought this book for my brother who is in prison. He loves all of Richard Paul Evans' books, and when I sent this to him from Barnes and Noble, I didn't realize it was a children's book. Evans' books have had a profound effect on my brother spiritually. He told me that this particular book was written for children and that he still enjoyed it, but that he wanted to send it to my daughter--so he sent it to her, and she really loves itm though I'm not sure she gets the moral of the story yet!

    The True Meaning of Giving

I am in costant search of things to help teach my boys the true gift of giving. Richard Paul Evans does a wonderful job in this story and others. This was the first book I read to my children by this author,(2000). I have now read 3 others. They are all inspirational stories that touch the heart. I found it difficult not to cry. The true meaning of why we are here lies within these pages. This is a beautiful story for all. To give and not to judge, that it could be any one of us in need and to be thankful for the kindness of strangers.

    One of the Best

Richard Paul Evans reminds us that 'Our Family' consists of more than those of our own household. And yes I am my brothers keeper. Very well written and 'Enlightening'.
