The City Out My Window: 63 Views on New York

This comment is highlight an erroneous comment in the B&N review.

I have only seen excerpts of the book, and plan on purchasing more than one copy. I'm certain I (and others) will thoroughly enjoy it.

I leave this comment to point out an error in the description of one of the "view" contributors: Rosanne Cash--"famous widow"??? I am not a follower of Rosanne Cash, but she is not a widow, and not as famous as she likely should be for her talents. The statement in the review is not only inaccurate but also offensive, with the implication her "view" is included in this book because, in part, she is a "famous widow". She is a daughter and step-daughter of famous people who are now deceased, but even that is irrelevant. The view outside her window is lovely. (And envious!) A little fact-checking would be nice before proceeding with such a snarky comment.

Fantastic!

I gave this book to a friend that lives in new york and it was extremely well received. Matteo's drawings capture the true essence of the city and the commentary is witty and interesting. I recommend it to all those that heart nyc!
