incomplete articles
I complained to the Columbus Dispatch and they told me it was a Barns and Noble problem.

Columbus Dispatch on my Nook
Little dissapointed--just received my 1st paper--had to do a hunt for the Sports section--took allot of flipping to find it, then when I finally found it--looks like several things were missing--namely the Blogs from the Buckeye Beat writers. Will do some for investigating--maybe I am missing something.

Cancelled subscription due to inconvenient eformat
While the product was delivered on time, and contained clear print and photos, the method of having to read it was very inconvenient. One has to start at the beginning and read through to the end, page by page. One can't skip around looking for what I want to read, or what I want to skip (like the whole sports section) And at roughly 1400 pages per article on my Nook, that's a lot of paging. I suggest looking at Time or Entertainment Weekly for a better user friendly emagazine format.

late
The website promises access by 6:30 a.m. In reality, it was often late. The Oct. 1, 2 AND 3, 2012 editions weren't accessible on me Nook until all three popped up on Oct. 3rd after 4 p.m.

Like the Dispatch, just not the format
I really didn't like the format of the articles. Not newspaper like at all. I am not sure that there was more there than on the website.

Good News...Bad News..OLD NEWS!
I have been getting this daily for almost a year now. I find reading the newspaper on the nook is easier than the print paper, and generally give them a thumbs up. I wish there were more graphs, pictures etc., like the print edition ( that we can actually see and read captions ), and yes some content is missing compared to print. The big problem I have is the lack of accountability for the content. Many times, sentences just end on one page and pick up on the next with obvious missing content. Today, for the 3rd or 4th time, I found myself reading articles that seemed out of date. WAY out of date... LAST YEARS NEWS! On more than a few occasions I have seen articles that were literally a year old. I have emailed the Dispatch online edition customer service with no response.

I enjoy reading the Dispatch on my Nook, but I am going to look at some other options, since I cannot trust that what I am reading is actually current news. -

Can't cancel!
I have just attempted to cancel this subscription for the 3rd time...however, a monthly renewal was just charged to my account!

Too much content is not included in this Nook edition...Weekender, tv guide, comics, puzzles, and other specialty items. Also, content indexing is insufficient...you have to page thru too much content to get to what you want. Not worth $6.99 per month! -

Not the Complete Paper
I was disappointed to not get the comics section. I also do not get the Weekender section that comes on on Thursday, that shows activities over the coming weekend.

Doesn't Include Everything.
Doesn't include THE WEEKENDER, or comics, or TV schedule, and who knows what else. Those are items I can easily recall.

I will recommend this because I did get all articles that the print issue has in it
I liked the idea of have my newspaper delived to my nook but was disappointed that the comics were not included in the issue. I sometimes get down reading the news but the comics at least give me a laugh. I missed that.

Great overall experience
I was getting the print edition, but like the Nook edition better for during the week as it is delivered on time, always there on my Nook. I like being able to change the print size, which one can not do on with the paper version. They have formatted it pretty well, so it is not hard to browse. Most likely will change my "hard copy" paper subscription to Sunday only in order to get all the adds, and rely on the Nook edition for Monday - Saturday.

Thankful its available!
I've yet to encounter any download issues. I find the paper easy to navigate compared to some of the othe newspapers I've tried on the Nook. Frankly, I'm just happy to be able to get the Columbus Dispatch on the Nook, it allows me to stay in touch with whats going on in Columbus now that I've moved to another state. Go Bucks!
