The truth will set you free...
I am a young person. Barely 16, I first encountered Animal Dreams at my school library. At first, I thought it would be a simple, average book, but after picking it up and reading the first page, I saw that I was deeply wrong! The way that Mrs. Kingsolver expresses her story and plot is one that boggles my mind. She has a way of making you feel like you're there, smelling the meat on the grill or being attacked by the uncontrollable sandstorms of the Arizina desert. If anything about Barbara Kingsolver's writing stands out, it's her portrayal of life and its realisms, how we interweave ourselves into the tapestry of fate, what we do in the face of adverse and extraordinary situations, and how we discover, within our triumphs, the true meaning of being alive.
