Great value AND Great book
The author communicates well. I bought this tome 1 1/2 years ago and put my webpage together within hours. I recommended it to a friend who found it very useful--he had his webpage up in less than a week. If you buy webwriting software, you'll not know the wheres and whats of the garbage code they insert into your HTML files--and things will go wrong that you'll have no insight on how to correct. You don't have to worry about this book's publication date (Jan '97) because HTML doesn't change much--it's not rocket science. Why, even this review has HTML embedded in it. If you can't borrow it, buy it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

McFedries is awesome! Not only was I a master of HTML after reading (even without using a computer the week I read it), but the book was a great resource for questions I had later....and here's the clincher: I emailed Paul McFedries about a problem I was having with some HTML....and he replied. He worked with me a few times until the solution was seen. This guy, this book....EXCELLENT!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
