Great read. Definitely worth the price.
I read some...
I read some of the reviews who called Princess Sultana spoiled and arrogant, but they're missing the point. The point of these books isn't just about Sultana herself, it's to show that women of all backgrounds, classes, ethnicities, and religions are being abused by those who are supposed to protect them (husbands, families, employers, governments, religions) but instead deny them rights and turn a blind eye to the abuse, sanction it, accept it, and even encourage it. It's not just the rare attention grabbing headlines but a daily thing for many women despite their supposed positions in society.
I would definitely recommend reading these books. My only con was that when I had finished, I wanted to read more and I wanted to know what had happened to Sultana's daughters.

From what I HAVE read so far, the story is interesting. The hidden life of the women is so restricted, yet the young women take great risks. Their punishment is beyond belief. So sad the manner in which the men treat their women, they are in complete control. Only a few good men treat their wife or wives with respect.
