    more from this reviewer

Nothing wrong with The Constitution. The same cannot be said of some who interpret it.

For those who are able to realize that it isn't 1776 anymore and move along with progress AND STILL honor, abide by, respect, follow, and embrace every word in the most powerful document of all, this issue is great. If you're unable to embrace the fact that time has marched on and that events have occured which require us see that we as a people (well, most of us anyway) and a country have evolved, and you still spend the weekends at teabag rallys wearing a 3 pointed hat and carrying a musket, well, then yeah, this book may not be for you.

    DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION

I bought this version before learning it contains a warning to parents advising they "discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work." These are the fundamental documents of the United States of America!! Shame on you, Wilder Publications. I tore out the offending page.

Buy A Copy Of The Constitution, But Not This One

All American citizens should own copies of the US Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. These documents tell you what your rights and freedoms are in our nation. We should all know that.

Strangely, this publisher, Wilder, has included a "disclaimer" and a "warning" to parents, stating boldly that "this book does not reflect the current times."

Yes, do buy yourself a copy of your Constitution, your Declaration of Independence, and your Bill of Rights. But do not buy this copy from this publisher. Do not give your hard-earned money to anti-American companies.

    Warning disclaimer!!!

This publisher seems to think the U.S. Constitution "does not reflect the same values as it would if it was written today" this is the warning on the second page. The greatest document for freedom and liberty does not need a disclaimer. I will purchase another copy of the founding documents from a publisher who does'nt feel we need to be warned before reading the constitution.
