I'm not sure what one of the other reviewers was talking about in saying the second half of this book was boring. I'd like to know what books he/she is reading, because that wasn't what i felt about this story at all. This book kept me reading to see how everything would be resolved. I couldn't figure out how it could end well but the author pulled it off. It also had some very satisfying and emotional scenes. The "rain" scene about 2/3 of the way through the book is probably one of the most romantic and moving love scenes I've ever read in a romance. It's not your average love scene in a romance that's for sure. The emotional bond Fiona and Braedan make during that helps them to defeat the villain together later in the book. I loved this story. It's sticking with me even though I finished reading it a few weeks ago. I recommend it for anyone who wants to read a romance that isn't the same as every other one.

    Something Different

Not your run of the mill medieval romance. Complex and emotional. A good story!

    Bored

The book started out good with an original story...then about half way through, it got boring and predictable. Almost painful to finish!
