Not very good...and coming from me...a HUGE reader and dark knight fan with load of posters all over her walls, it says a lot. I love how it goes into more detail about Batman and Harvey Dent's past....but there is no emotion or excitement. The Joker is such an exciting, interesting character...but the book does not show this at all. THERE IS A TYPO. I'm not even joking...look on page 159..("so get OUR your cheque..."). Obviously the editor didn't care very much for the book. Not worth buying, but worth a read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. A slight dissapointment
I purchased this book, having seen the movie six times, and was slightly dissapointed by the quality. I had expected more insight into the characters and the plot-line, but instead found an obviously rushed and poorly executed novelization. While still entertaining, I would most likely recommend seeing the movie instead. I commened O'Neil though, because writing for such complex characters as Batman and The Joker is not a simple task, and all in all, the novel was an enjoyable read.
