Scientists Duped Again, As They Were By Darwin

It should come as no surprise that the so - called experts were duped by Dr. Steinschneider, the central figure in the world of SIDS. While reading this book, it struck me how an idea can take hold and then the scientists scramble to make the data fit. The parallels to the promulgation of Darwin's theory and the proliferation of the SIDS phenomonen are striking. I realize the intent of the book was to expose the hype regarding SIDS and had nothing to do with Darwin and evolution. I just couldn't help but notice the similarities. As one who was regularly chastised for daring to question to orthodoxy of Darwin's theories, it really jumped out at me how adamant and indignant the scientists became, how they 'circled the wagons', when anyone questioned the holy grail of the apnea - SIDS theory. Outstanding reading, gives you real pause about deaths that may have been written off as SIDS and were really infanticide.

As a parent, and more importantly as a SIDS mom, this book should be a required read for the entire human race

As a mother that has lost a child and knows truely what SIDS is and what it is NOT, I think this book should be a requirment for all mankind. Especially parents.. but I say all man because in life, some how and in some way we will all touch the lives of a babe... I am the mother of 4 sons, 3 here with me and one in Heaven. This book isn't about a mother that murdered her children, it's about the history of SIDS and infant life and death. EVERY parent should be educated on SIDS and this book is very educational on how SIDS become so controversial and complicated and why it still hasn't been figured out!!! A must read!!!

    Opinion

I am so tired of "reviewers" that post drizzle and crap about books they have not read or books they cannot read, or use this forum as scratch paper. If you have not read the book, then don't write a review. Grow up.

    Paradox

"Oh, hello Scar. I recently joined, as well as Dusklock here. She's new to evil, recent troubles in her life and all crippled her mental stability. Isn't that right, dear?" Paradox drags a slightly confused Dusklock over. "Uh... yeah. I haven't killed anyone yet, really." Paradox smiles. "Well, I've killed my own mother, you'll get used to it in time." She pats Dusklock's ear with her paw and pushes her away like a cart, smiling apologetically to Scar. ((Yeah, that's supposed to be funny. Neither of them is normally like this.))
