I bought this book and then promptly finished it in a few hours. When the story was over I found myself wanting more and more of their story. There were parts where I laughed and parts where I wanted to cry at the despair that the characters were feeling. The characters develop so fully throughout this story that you find yourself transported back to their time. Every time I read a book by Rachel Van Dyken I find myself wanting to live in Regency times. I walked away from this book with a need for more and a want for a love like Lady Katherine's and the Devil Duke.

Grammar?

I can't get past the synopsis, did anyone bitger to proof read this before it was published? I'm starting to get angry whith all these stories being allowed to be published without proper proof reading and editing.

Okay, the book is cute and easy to read. There were a few times that I wasn't sure if I was confused by the plot or that I just don't have a grasp on time period pieces, but I enjoyed the banter and while the duke seem to soften quickly, it was fun how it was the heroine's love that did it.

    Sweet read

Katherine and Benedict give us the classic rogue vs innocent story. This is a clean, 153 page fun read.

    Thouroghly enjoyed!

I sat down and read this book in one day. I did not want to stop! I truly enjoy Rachel Van Dyken's writing. My only issue with this book was that it was the last book in the House of Renwick Series! Oh well, I guess it is off to hook myself on another one of her series...
