Comfort and Support in Getting Through the Parenting Challenges
I enjoyed the upbeat tone of this book. I get confused and overwhelmed sometimes with all the psycho-babble out there. No one author has all the answers that work on all my kids all of the time. I found comfort in this little book knowing for sure that I am not the only parent that faces daily challeges that test my sanity. With the wisdom and humor offered in this guide, I am feeling less guilty and more competent raising my 3 young children, all under the age of 6. I also wish to recommend another little book filled with hundreds of quick-read sanity savers called The Pocket Parent. I keep these two books on my nightstand ready to lift my spirts by giving me some warm fuzzies. When no one is around, it's so comforting to have a friendly adviser always available in between the pages--giving a welcome little verbal hug of encouragement, compassion and practical suggestions.
