Sutherland creates a new and exciting world for readers in her newest series. Seven dragon tribes are currently at war, fighting for power to determine who among the three sisters will be the Queen. During the war a prophecy was foretold, that five dragonets will rise to decide the new ruler. The Talons of Peace an underground group hoping for an end to the war, collected the five dragonets foretold of in the prophecy, and have raised them underground, in a hidden cave.
But not all of this mismatched group of dragonets, who have been secluded since birth, want to or believe in their predetermined destiny. And when the five escape their underground cave and begin the quest to seek their homelands, both the dragonets and the dragon world are in for some surprises.
Enhanced by the pictures and brief summaries of the different dragons, a map, and the prophecy included in the book, the magnificent dragons and their variety of homes come to life. But more than just the adventure of the dragonets, it is their morals and personality that really connect with the readers and make Wings of Fire a great read. Readers seeking a new adventure and a cast of characters to love and support will enjoy Wings of Fire.

Wings of Fire By: Tui T. Sutherland

Loved all of the different dragons

    * * * *

I remember all of my friends reading it they all said it was a great 5 star book. I had a book report and I didn’t have a book yet so I asked
them what I should read and they all said Wings of Fire so I decided to read it.The book wings of fire is about a boy named Clay didn't
think He was The right Dragon for a big heroic destiny but it was his destiny so he kind of didn't have the respect to go on his big long
adventure. I really like the book because of all the different dragons that Clay meets and also because he goes on A big long adventure
and go to a tone of different places. I think the appropriate age group for this book would be 7-12. I would have to write this book about
4 1/2 star I thought was pretty good.

Real review cotinued (acedentaly pressed post)

Blister , a very intelegent and manipulative dragon, she enjoys being in control of everything she is the second born, and Blaze, she is a weakling and a coward the most precess thing to her is her looks she is the third and the most vain. So the five dragonetts of destiny have to compleate there prophecy
WHEN THE WAR HAS LASTED TWENTY YEARS...
    THE DRAGONETS WILL COME.
WHEN THE LAND IS SOAKED IN BLOOD AND TEARS...
    THE DRAGONETS WILL COME.
FIND THE SEAWING EGG O DEEPEST BLUE.
WINGS OF NIGHT SHALL COME TO YOU.
THE LARGEST EGG IN MOUNTAIN HIGH
WILL GIVE YOU THE WING OF SKY.
FOR WINGS OF EARTH, SEARCH THLROUGH THE MUD
FOR AN EGG THE COLOR OF DRAGON BLOOD.
AND HIDDEN ALONE FROM RIVAL QUEENS,
    THE SANDWING EGG AWAITS UNSEEN.
OF THREE QUEENS WHO BLISTER AND BLAZE AND BURN,
TWO SHALL DIE AND ONE SHALL LEARN
IF SHE BOWS TO A FATE THAT IS STRONGER AND HIGHER,
SHE'LL HAVE THE POWER OF WINGS OF FIRE.
FIVE EGGS TO HATCH ON THE BRIGHTEST NIGHT,
FIVE DRAGONS BORN TO END THE FIGHT.
DARKNESS WILL BRING RISE TO LIGHT.
    THE DRAGONETS ARE COMEING...
The five dragonets Tsunami, Starflight, Glory, Clay, and Sunny. Have to complete this phrophecy delivered by a myaterious night wing. But the dragonets have one issue there guardens Krestel, a skywing with a temper shorter than I thouht possible, Webs, the dragon that collected Tsunami's and Glory's eggs, and Dune, a cripple, grabbed there eggs before they even hatched and kept them in a cave there entire life. Tsunami is a seaWing and fierce dragonet that would fight before thinking. Starflight is the NightWing he loves scrolls and lacks any of the NightWing abilitys like mindreading and prophetic dreams. Glory is a "useless" RainWing a last minute replacement after Burn smashed the SkyWing egg Glorys temper is as short as Krestels but she cant breath fire and aparently doesn't have any natural defences of her own. Clay the MudWing would do anything to protect the other four dragonets. Sunny is a very optimistic dragonet she is quite content to stay in the cave as long as nessacary

Read this is you don't want to read the story!!!!!

Wings of Fire The Dragonet Prophicey is about 5 dragonets of The Prophicey. The story is told from the mud wing, Clay's, perspective, and how the dragonets survive in their cave until one day they escape and go through an adventure that doesnt seem to end. Clay is one of the dragonets of prophecy. He and his friends survive and learn about the war. The war between Blister, Burn, and Blaze. Whoever wins the war becomes the leader of the dragons, all dragons. Clay and the dragonets don't see how they are going to stop the war. But, they still want to escape the cave. In turn, the dragonets say they will hide and learn how to survive on their own. After all, how are they supposed to learn how to survive by reading scrolls and hunting mice?
