Consistency. Not too many hip hop artists can claim this as part of their arsenal. It is however the only to describe Jay-Z. This album is not quite the classic like the previous 2(it just came out though so that's bound to change). Yet Jigga continues to blur the lines between commercial(radio friendly beats) and street while recieving unlimited support from both sides with one key: Consistency. Others maybe doing it but Jigga has been doing it well for a while now. He also continues to ride with his fellow Rocafella fam never straying away just continuing to grow as a whole. Beans really shines on this as well. Songs like ''Streets is Talking'', and ''I Just Wanna Love U'' are typical Jay-Z. But he reaches a personal milestone with ''Soon You'll Understand'' and ''Where Have You Been'' where he speaks about growing up without a father. If anything else Jay-Z has proven not only is he one of hip hop's top lyricists but that there is more to him than just the jewels, the money and the fame. Listen.
