The Economist is simply the best weekly newspaper on the market. The articles are great, and the in-depth reports are even better. The nook color version is wonderful because I now get the publication when it is released. In the USA I would previously receive it up to four days (it is published on Thusdays, but subscription services for the print version do not concider it late until after 7 days). This is a problem as it is a news paper and getting it late makes is almost useless.

Really amazing print subscription - wish I had free access on my NOOK

I am a long time subscriber of the print Economist. With many of my other print subscriptions I am able to get them also on my NOOK for free. The Economist does not include the NOOK subscription with the print version. I suggest they include it the way they do for iPad ...
I am a long time subscriber of the print Economist. With many of my other print subscriptions I am able to get them also on my NOOK for free. The Economist does not include the NOOK subscription with the print version. I suggest they include it the way they do for iPad as that is not the only tablet out there. Just a thought!

Not Compatible with Nook Simple Touch

Beware - the economist is 'not compatible' with Nook Simple Touch. When I bought my Nook I specifically asked if I could read the economist on my Nook - I was assured this would be possible. Now I am being told it is 'not compatible'. NOT HAPPY!

    Unbelievable

I paid for the nook subscription, then it never appeared in my Nook library...after reading about the numerous problems with magazine purchases and the nook online, I'm done! Who has the time to spend hours figuring out what should be a simple process...Nook and B&N need to get it together...otherwise the IPAD revolution deserves to win, and I hate Apple!

People need to stop putting customer reviews for the economist o

People need to stop putting customer reviews for the economist on here, it is misleading. The Economist is great, the Economist {Nook Magazine} is not.

I'm not sure who's fault it is, but customers should not have to pay for 2 subscriptions - i.e. one for the print/digital and another for the Nook. Unless you only read the economist at home, or you carry your Nook everywhere, go with a normal Economist print/digital subscription - it is more versatile.

    Ridiculous

I held off getting a reader for a long time. Never really understood what they were useful for. My brother got me a nook for christmas. I was like. Ok, well it would be convenient to get the economist on it. It's not supported. That is beyond insane.

    Technical problems

The article view has been defective in the last two weeks. The spacing was non-existant and the letter f didn't appear.

Not on my Nook or Samsung Galaxy III

This item isn't viewable on my Nook or my Samsung Galaxy III phone. You would think B&N could tell me that before I subscribed.

Watch Out! - Closing Out Your Subscription on The Website Doesn't Work

I tried twice to cancel a subscription on my Barnes and Noble account. On both attempts I got a message back that the cancellation was successful and would take place within 30 minutes. A week later I received a charge to my credit card for the subscription. Called B&N support. Was told they would manually cancel the subscription for me, but a refund of the monthly subscription charge would take up to two months. Wait a pain!!!
    Caveat Emptor..........Buyer Beware!
