The only book about witchcraft you'll ever need

I read Illes's companion book 'The Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells' first. Together, these are the only books about spells and witchcraft you'll ever need. Presented as much as a study of the history of witchcraft as a tutorial, this book spans centuries and nations to do something other writers of the genre often fail to do: Compare, contrast and combine the various topics to describe their evolution. One could imagine students of witchcraft and wizardry learning from this book. Amazing.

more fun than a cauldron of toads.

This book has everything you would ever need (or want) to know about magic, from it's beginings to modren practioner pointer, its both fun and informitive to read. not for those looking for a few fluffy spells but for those seeking a true background of the magical arts. Unassuming, progressive and entertaing.

    Not for the teenagers

Ok most people who are just interested in doing little spells that are just fun and silly and not interested in the history of witch craft, then this book would not be for you. However if you are like me a seeker of knowledge and truth then this book is definately a good resource.

    Disappointing!

I was very disappointed with this book. It has stories about witches... Like in stories of Dorothy and the Wizzard of Oz, Hanzel & Gretel & other childrens stories. I didn't want to read about stories I wanted to know how to do spells and magic. I was also dissapointed with the 5000 Spells! It asks for different things to use in your spells, like warewolfs blood! What is that!..//???? Where can it be found?
