Overall not a bad beginner introduction book to the world of win
Overall not a bad beginner introduction book to the world of wine. sadly, i bought this book to help me learn as much as possible about wine for a job that i am about to get, and it lacked a bit in some areas that could have otherwise proved useful. as you ready through the kinds of wines, they all start to sound the same. i wish that the author could have added more detail for each wine, including a more detailed focus on flavors and aromas. instead i learned more about the grape that the wine came from and, a minimal amount of taste such as Sweet, Dry, and Tannic. i am no expert on wine, and i need to learn as much as possible as quickly as i can for my upcoming job. though this book proved helpful, it didn't seem helpful enough. since i haven't had the opportunity to taste most wines, i was looking forward to very detailed descriptions of each wine. enough so that could envision each as though i have tasted them myself. since i didnt seem to get enough information from this book, i find myself in the situation of having to buy another book and hope for the detail that this one seemed to lack.
