This is a well written novel about three refugees return to Vien
This is a well written novel about three refugees return to Vienna after WWII. It is elegantly written and pleasant. Each of these people have their own backgrounds and stories of what and why they left Vienna. It is sad seeing them all realize that Vienna of their past memories is not the Vienna they are returning to in the mid 1950's. I thought it was very well written but rather long, so I did not enjoy it as much as I might have. It is indeed thought provoking and poignant and I am sure you will not regret reading it. The story just moves rather slow for my individual taste. I was given this book for an honest review. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
