Odd characters in a bizarre situation a la the Grest Gatsby

The nook description of the book is one sentence and there were no reviews. It was the middle of a sleepless night and it was the nook deal of the day... so i gave it a try. I had no idea what to expect, which was somewhat refreshing. The story reads a lot like the Great Gatsby... kind of a sudpended reality with a handful of characters that are hard to relate to, but interesting to read about. I didn't love it, and i didn't hate it.... but the story will stay with me for a while.

Seriously, Nook, why are you featuring a book in your Daily Find

Seriously, Nook, why are you featuring a book in your Daily Find that so clearly sexualizes an underage girl? The husband lusts after her while the girl lusts after the wife? And this is considered literature? I'll pass.
