I have just begun my 14 day free trial with the Nook's latest OS update. All the problems I've read about in the previous reviews seem to have been fixed. The pages and navigation panes are running smoothly and relatively quickly and no font/typography issues have arisen. Delivery has been early, (6:07 am this morning). All the great writing and reporting of FT is here and accessible. Great product and highly recommended.

At first, I liked the idea that I could just purchase the newspaper online and read it anytime. However, last week I bought financial times every day and when I finally decided to read it, the front page and the world news would not load every time I clicked on the headline. In addition, it would just skip to another section on the newspaper that I was not interested in. So, there is something wrong with financial times e-newspaper because my other newspapers work just fine. I am very upset about this incident, despite that the newspaper is inexpensive I still wish to get what I paid for.

    So far so good

I've always enjoyed reading this newspaper for a more global perspective on current events, in comparison to the wall street journal. I like the fact that you can bookmark articles and highlight text within articles for reference purposes. A recommendation would be for BN to add a text to speech function for those who have visual impairments.

How the Rich are Making Sure They Stay onTop

The commentary is misleading and designed to reinforce the the victim mentality which is pervasive among us. The include the very poor with the stats. How about the income decline with those between the 1% and poor? I wonder how the poor are defined these days. So often, poverty is a state of mind. Depending on that state of mind. poverty may be a step to wealth or a way of life.
