    Professional Arrangements ANYONE can do!

Finally, an easy to read and follow book on floral design for the non-professional that won't break the bank! If you have been looking for a book that will give you true step by step instructions for floral designs that have the WOW factor but can be put together with simple supermarket flowers and containers and other items that you already have around the house, this book is for you. The most I had to get was floral foam for fresh flowers (it is the foam that you soak in water) which is quite easy if you have a Michaels, Hobby Lobby or even Joannes in the area. If not, you can easily get it online, I have found. In just a short amount of time, I made two of the arrangements and received the most spectacular comments from my dinner guests. They even asked me who my florist was, lol! I beamed when I told them I did them myself! The pictures are well done, and as stated, directions clear. He he even gives recipes for using the more premium flowers if you have access to a flower market. Very cool stuff. I hope he follows it up with a volume two!

    Beautiful and Affordable Flower Designs

What a great book--for novice or experienced designer. The dual approach (using sufficient flowers to make a creative design or using even more flowers to enhance the basic design) is ingenious! Easy to read and even easier to follow. I've been inspired to practice these arrangements since I received the book.

    Lay review Frugal Florist

Attended John's floral classes which were really great & learned a lot about floral arranging. His book has some great tips to create beautiful centerpieces for many occasions while keeping the cost down. One can be as creative from these ideas as they want to.
