I liked this and want more by these authors

I really got caught up in this story. The quest is not-so-original but the journey is great. The "guests" our hero adopts along the way are characters with distinct personalities, people of substance, people who remain with you when you put the book away (or file it in your archives. I've plans to find more by these authors. Should be a sequel out there! Yeah!

Ignore the ignorant fascist who wrote the "gross!" review, its a good fantasy story.

First of all, somebody really needs to read Fahrenheit 451. Anybody who truly believes any book should be banned needs to be hit with a shovel and mailed to north korea. This is actually a decent fantasy story. There is nothing even mildly offensive in it. It is set in an interesting, well thought out fantasy world, with good thought given to the different nationalities. While it doesnt necessarily stand out over any other questing story, the characters are fairly well thought out and each bring a certain unique talent to make the group function well together. It throws in enough action with a good amount of humor for it not to be boring at all. Everybody will be able to relate to the characters in some way. If you aren't offended by the sentence "As she strolled out of the water the light cotton of her dress clung to her curves, causing him to blush and quickly look away.", then check out this story. It is perfectly fine for anybody over the age of 10 to read.

    more from this reviewer

Could have been so much more...

Unfortunately, when the copy is missing entire chapters (the copy I downloaded had at least 3 major gaps in the editing (including _at least_ a 8 chapter gap!), even after re-downloaded.), I cannot recommend anyone even try this book.

If the edited version ever gets put back up I'll give this one another shot.. as it looked like it had potential, but for now this is an "Incomplete" on the grading scale.
