I was thrilled to find that The Ghost and the Graveyard is part of a series. After finishing this novel, which is a fast-paced, sensual, well-crafted piece, I was anxious to read on and continue the vicarious adventure of Grateful, her sexy ghost and the mysteries that lurk behind the graveyard gates. This novel is definately intended for mature audiences only. As such, I found myself carving out some reading time and wanting to pretend I was in college again so I could pull and all-nighter to stay up and read. Character development is top notch, as well as the underlying story which unfolds chapter by chapter and keeps the reader completely engaged and thirsty for the next scene, and the next, and the other after that!!! Now I anxiously await book #2. Well done!

Unbelievable

You have a 22 year old nurse killing bad guys, breaking hospital rules, drinking copious amounts of alcohol, engaging in unprotected sex and also blood drinking by the way. She eats junk food to get through her shift and is romancing a cooking man ghost and a man drag...

    Awful

This is a terrible book. It is so cliched and predictable and ridiculous, I laughed all the way through it - and not where the author was trying for humor, either. Awful, obnoxious heroine, father who fills his 22 year old daughter's cellar with wine (what father would do that?), ludicrously slutty sex scenes, huge leaps over details needed to support improbable actions (I absolutely did not believe one word of the two bimbos extraction of the comatose patient from the hospital); the list of careless writing and plotting goes on and on. I cannot even imagine how weird you would have to be to fing the frequent sex scenes sensuous or arousing to anything but one's funny bone. This is like something a talented teenager might write with her friends. In other words, not yet ready for prime time, and pretty typical for this fly-by-night publisher.

    Don't bother

It's free for a reason as the writing soon makes clear

Absolutely horrid writing and the main character, 'Grateful', made me want to bash my head into something repeatedly

Her stupidity was so strong it jumped off the page at me, also her whining and just her personality in general made me wish she would die by the end of the book

And this is only after reading 13 pages, imagibe finishing the retched thing
