This is your next great summer book to read....Larue(has a BFF named Mindy,a Hunky boyfriend named Callahan)runs a bookstore and seems to acquire ghost that follow her every move and one of her new ghosts is ELVIS himself. There is black witchcraft, a demon, and a reality TV show. Larue, a psychic medium,must banish this demon back to HELL with the help of all her freinds....

A good read

I liked this story. I enjoyed having Callahan's family member around as a ghost. He is a fabulous addition :). It was nerve racking and you want to know what is happening! Callahan makes it worth reading :) hehe.

This is my favorite series from Rose and I couldn't be happier

This is my favorite series from Rose and I couldn't be happier that they just keep getting better as they go.This 3rd book in the Larue series made me laugh and smile with all the choas and craziness that surround Larue Donovan a bookshop owner/ghost hunter. I also love that they take place is Kentucky bc like Rose I love there as well, The characters are cute quirky and fun to read about and the ghosts range from sweet and friendly to downright mean and evil. Throw a little witchcraft in there and you can't not love this book.

What do you do when you can see, hear, and speak to ghosts? You try your best to help them move into the light. What happens when the ghost you can see and hear just happens to be Elvis Presley? You scream like a fan at one of his concerts and ask him to sing for you! Larue Donavan finds herself caught up with not only Elvis but two evil ghosts and a demon that wants to ruin her. She also has a crazy woman trying to steal a necklace from her so that she can take over and as if that were not enough her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend starts sending her threatening letters. Now, Larue finds herself involved in a reality TV show while trying to keep her book store going, keeping her boyfriend from going back to his ex, and making sure she is not completely taken over by a demon.
#3 in the Larue Donavan series, The Ghoul Next Door, is another out of the ball park book from the most awesome author, Rose Pressey. If you have not checked her out then you need to. You will not be able to stop once you start! She is addictive!

Rose Pressey is an outstanding writer

Rose writes with a style all her own. This book is one of her best works. If you are looking for a book with an edge, it will fill your needs and reads. Rose is a talented writer who has a loyal following. She communicates with her fans on Facebook. Do yourself a favor and start reading her books. You will not be disappointed in this book or any others of hers.

I just started this book last night and had a really hard time p

I just started this book last night and had a really hard time putting it down. Although I haven't finished it yet, I'm going to just say this book is so much fun to read! I love Larue and the situations (and ghosts) Ms. Pressey puts her through. Be prepared to laugh out loud! Really great story.

I love these stories. Rose is a exceptional author and I tell everyone about her work. Her Larue Donavan series are my favorite because of the quick humor and they don't start of slow like some authors tend to do.

Love this series!

Another great Larue book! I loved the ghosts, especially one in particular! Hopefully, we will see more of him in the future! Can't wait for the next one.

Terrific Book, You will love it

Another great book by Rose Pressey. It is about Larue Donavan, who sees ghosts and owns a bookstore. The ghosts she sees has varied with each book. The last one, she saw May West and Abe Lincoln. The ghosts latch onto her and she tries to find ways to help them to go into the light. This time there are three ghosts and one very, very famous one who have entered her life. They always seem to cause her grief. Her best friend, Mindy freaks out her all of the time because of the ghosts, but who could blame after what happened to her in the last book.
Larue has a very hot new boyfriend, Callahan Weiss. He tries to look past her strange ghostly friends and her ghost hunting. Things just from bad to worse for Larue when Callahan's old girlfriend show up in town.
Larue takes a job as a psychic medium for a TV show. As usual things do not go well for her and her friends. A demon is causing her problems and no one can help her. She has to find a way to keep Callahan and Mindy safe , help the ghosts find the light and battle the demon.
I really enjoyed this new book from Rose Pressey. It has the trademark humor that all of her books have. Her female heroines never take themselves too seriously and just try and take life in stride. The action is always fun. The romance is sweet and her friend is always at her side to help her through things, even when her friend is scared.

I highly recommend this book and all of the others ones written by Mrs. Pressey. You will have a good time and come to love the characters in each of her books.
