Easy to follow recipes
My husband has just been diagnosed with a wheat allergy, so I am just learning to cook gluten-free. I have made three of the recipes so far, and he has enjoyed each of them. They are relatively simple recipes and not too time consuming. The ingredients are not too hard to find...I live in a rural area, so a couple of them had to be purchased from a larger nearby city. I would recommend this book to someone looking for some basic gluten-free recipes.

Fabulous Cookbook
I feel like I can eat normally again after 5 years of little or no options. This is a straight forward, easy cookbook to follow. The recipes are simple, basic, everyday foods that those of us with gluten sensitivity miss in our diets. Great, successful, recipes!!! Thanks.

delicious recipes
The recipes in this book are great. On the second day after I bought the book. I baked a sponge cake, a loaf of bread, some rolls, and the waffles. They were so good, that my husband, who is not on the gluten free diet and usually don't eat cakes, said he likes my sponge cake, he even save a piece to bring to work the next day. And not to metion my gluten free daughter, since she was diagnosed with the disease, this is the first time she had any cakes and bread. She loves it so much. I am so glad I picked up this book from Barnes and Noble. Many thanks to Roben Ryberg.

Highly Recommend!!!!
In 2009 my mother became very ill and after several months was diagnosed with celiacs. She hadn't eaten real food for several months and when she was able to again, she didn't like the taste of the few gluten free foods we were able to find to buy. I started looking for a cookbook and ran onto this one. The first thing I made for her was a pizza using the crust recipe and her favorite sauce which happened to be gluten free and she LOVED it. Other ones she has loved are the onion rings, carrot cake, both chocolate and yellow cakes, nut bread, pie crust, and several of the breads. These recipes are the types of foods my mother cooked and ate before she was diagnosed. They use simple ingredients that can be found in any grocery store except for the guar & xanthan gum which I found at a health food store, but now some grocery stores carry this too. They are easy to make and don't take a lot of time either. Every one in family likes most of the foods too. Whether you have celiacs or know of someone who does, I recommend getting this cookbook!!!

recipes tasted so good that EVERYONE ate the results - much to my dismay
These recipes taste very close to ones that contain wheat/gluten. No grittiness. Of course, I added some sugar here, some cinnamon there, but that is me. I liked this cookbook so much that I have given it as a gift to several people.

Very useful
Very informative about how to create tasty gluten free foods from scratch. Learned about why and how certain ingrediants work to create baked goods. One of the better cookbooks on the subject.

Not worth the money.
I found the recipes I tried to be very chalky tasting. They seem to use a lot of startches rather than flour. There are much better books on the market.

Bought as a gift
Since I bought this as a gift, I cannot speak to its usefulness or quality. However, the recipient said they received it on time, and they were pleased with the book.

A Favorite!
All I have to say is: Fried Chicken and Donuts. Being gluten free is easy for me, since I have no more pain now. But,it was hard giving up some things, and going to Dunkin' Donuts for a coffee made me weep. Weep no more, all the comfort foods are here. Not that you should eat fried chicken every day but still... yum :)

The Best Gluten Free Cookbook EVER
This cookbook uses easy to obtain, and easy to use ingredients. The look and taste of the foods are absolutely wonderful. We thought that Gluten Free eating would be tasteless and boring, but, not so with this book. It gives precise, easy to follow, and easy to do instructions. If you have room for only one gluten free cookbook, make it this one. I would be lost without it. I have yet to have even one recipe not turn out as anticipated. YUMMY!!!!!

Delicious, Affordable Wheat-Free Foods!
Roben's recipes are easy to follow, and the end results are delicious. The ingredients are minimal and affordable. This book is great for feeding children and helping them feel like they can eat like everyone else. (My entire family likes the recipes and can't tell they're wheat-free). Thanks Roben, for filling a necessary need.
