Mr. Kemp does it again.  I purchased this book and by the end of the night it was finished.  Another gripping tale of characters you become so viscerally involved with that they grip the strings of your heart and just pull you along for the ride.  I have read every single novel written by Mr. Kemp, and I must say this probably ranks up there as one of the best if not THE best one he has written thus far.  Riven, Mags, Vasen, Cale ... all characters that you grow to care and love deeply about.  The tie into the Sundering series was perfect as well.

Everything is borderline cinematic in this book, you can clearly see everything in your head as you are reading it and it grips you so hard that you do not want to put the book down.  One of the things that always grabs me about his books as well is the fantastic use of literally style that sets him apart from other authors by using clear transitions and, well go figure, authentic proper grammar.  As sad as I was to see this book end, I was equally thrilled to have been someone taken along for the ride that was The Godborn.  Thank you yet again Mr. Kemp for writing such a phenomenal story!  Huzzah!

I must say, Paul did it again. Extremely well written, and has a lot of smaller sub plots within the main plot, which is something I really like about Kemp. If you've read any of his work before, pick this one up too.. You won't be disappointed.
