Very pleased with The Goddess Prophecies' Book I - Cup of Immortality
I love reading about heroic females and this book takes a special woman and turns her into a Super Hero. Vivienne of course doesn't start out that way. She is in fact uncertain but as the book evolves so does she -- she becomes a powerful woman, strong and capable. The other characters are worthy of this great adventure as well. If you like strong characters and a memorable story, you'll enjoy this book like I did.

A Great Way to Have Fun! Read D.W. Whitney's new Book
If you want to have a great time, just pick up or buy a copy of D.R. Whitney's book, "The Cup of Immortality: Book I." Seriously, I couldn't put it down. This book went way past my expectations for a good fantasy novel. I was excited reading the entire book, beginning to end. I literally couldn't put it down. Had to keep at it until I finished. It reminds me of Lord of the Rings because all the characters and lands are so original. Now I can't wait for Book II. Also, I understand that there's an audio book in the works. I visited their website and enjoyed seeing all the characters and the great music too. How much more can one writer put into it!!! Their website is: http://www.goddessprophecies.com.

Impressed with Writer's Ability to Draw you In
When I read fantasy, I am looking for a great escape. The Cup of Immortality is such an escape. D.W. Whitney has created a saga of heroism and adventure. The Misty Isle captures your imagination along with the wonderfully developed characters, lands, battles. The book draws from legends of old, yet is a tale for our modern age. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy, epic adventures, and just good old fashioned great reading.

Great Read for Fantasy Lovers!
Wow. I just finished reading the Cup of Immortality. What a terrific story. What I loved about it is that is suitable for anyone 12 and up. It's a magical story that follows the last decedent of the Lady of the Lake back to another dimension in time. There are wonderful characters, races, lands and adventure. This is a real page turner. There is nothing like this out and it sweeps you up into its world.
Anyone who likes Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Twilight will love this book. For movie people, it's Tomb Raider meets Lord of the Rings.
Also check out their website http://www.goddessprophecies.com -- the conceptual art is fantastic and they are doing an audio book that sounds like a movie.
I buying and giving these books to my other fantasy loving friends. A great gift to buy for friends. An inspiring read.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

Get Ready for an Exciting Read!
Whew! I never imagined how thrilling it could be to wind your way through an epic adventure of this kind. This writer knows how to set you up for suspense, mystery and adventure. I always think that a book should be a good time and this one certainly was. Can't praise D.R. Whitney enough. The characters, the plot, the legends, the heroes and villains stay with you. I am already trying to find out when Book II comes out. Don't miss "The Cup of Immortality" for an exciting ride and read.

Watch out Terry Brooks
I've been a fan of Terry Brooks and am always looking for new fantasy genre books that get me involved in the story -- as Brooks does. D.R. Whitney has done it! This writer knows how to create characters that you can root for -- also ones you can hate and love! Bishop Dubricious, Master of the Souls was a thoroughly horrible creature yet fascinating at the same time. A worthy opponent for the leading lady Vivienne and her soulmate Laloiken. D.R. Whitney promises to be the next great fantasy genre novelist!
