    Good food, good body

There is that old maxim, “what makes a body good?” Well Will Allen has taken it to another level in his life’s work. He chronicles his unconventional path in The Good Food Revolutions: Growing Healthy Food, People, and Communities.
As a young boy, Will Allen had big dreams to become a famed basketball star. He did not want to follow the footsteps of his agrarian family. After playing professionally and then working in the corporate world, his green thumb came a calling and he brought to the urban centers the know how of the country.
In his home town of Milwaukee, Wisconsin he established an inner city haven to grow fresh foods. He perfected growing his own soil and now is a mission to bring fresh foods to people everywhere.
These barren communities in the inner city are filled with fast food joints that don’t add value.
In this wonderfully written book, Allen takes his life lessons learned and shares how everyone can make a difference in healing their body, their communities, and the world.
An inspirational tale of how one man is leading the good food revolution.

    A must read...and then again...and again...and again....

Will Allen is doing something along the lines of my own dream. I've already read ths book 4 times and each time it's better. If everyone in the world would take his view to food and work at it, we wouldn't have so many hungry people or so much crap in the environment. woop Woop Will!!! I just wish I was closer so I could attend your classes!
