Another Must Have
This cookbook offers more than just tasty ideas for eating healthy. A read through the first chapters immediately triggered a plan to start with the beginning stock and work through each and every recipe. The suggestions to 'make them your own' elevate this cookbook to one that will enjoy a long life in my kitchen. I can see I'll be exploring these recipes for inspiration with my CSA farmshare. I am not a vegetarian, but have made the decision to eat more responsibly. This cookbook updates the older vegetarian books that highlighted undesirable high fat items. There really is something for everyone in here. The book is filled with pictures and Ms. Katzen's wonderful drawings. Constructed with a heavy-duty binding, it should stand up to years of page turning.

Bought two more of these as gifts. The recipes are straight forward with ingredients that are readily available. A practical book that gives the dinner table a new and interesting direction. Finally a cookbook that is vegetables for vegetables sake. Her seasoning is on the mild side though as a rule of thumb I double it.
