A must read!
I'm definitely a Carly Phillips fan and this series is one of my favorites! The Chandler brothers have been a joy to read about. I think every woman can identify with falling for a guy who is notorious for not wanting to settle down and that's part of what makes the books so good. Love, drama, heartache, and suspense all combine in this book to make it a must read for any romantic. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome ending for this trilogy
I read all books about the Chandlers, I liked all three, but this book was the best of all.I really am glad that Chase was finally being able to get a chance of happiness. I have to say that I do like these characters and the closing was perfect. It seems to be a story of the whole family. Good read.

Overrated
While not a bad story, this book certainly proves the theory that you can't tell a book by it's cover, even with a synopsis. Implications of excitement and steamy romance were what lead me to read this book and it didn't quite deliver. At best I can say it was cute and readable and not a complete waste of time. It didn't make me grin, laugh or sigh, it was merely OK.

Quite Good
I Thought that this book was quite good. I have read the others in the series, and have not been let down by any of them. If you need to read a light-hearted book that will make you smile and laugh, look no further.

Good book just wrong title
THe book was great. I read it in three days. On the third day I meant to read only 4 chapters but I ended up reading the remaining chapters finishing the whole book. I don't think that the title did the book justice. I hope that the Chandlers brothers have cousins.

Another Chandler Man to love
In Heartbreaker, Chase Chandler decides its time for him to take care of what he wants and needs for a change. Chase has always put his brothers and mother first after the death of his father. Chase didn¿t count on meeting Sloane Carlisle. Sloane has always walked on the straight and narrow since her father is a Senator. Until one night when she overhears something that upsets her whole world. Thinking to forget her troubles in the arms of a stranger, she has a one-night stand with Chase. Sloane goes searching for answers in Yorkshire Falls, not knowing this is Chase¿s hometown. Chase agrees to watch over Sloane as a favor to her family. In Sloane¿s search for answers she and Chase find a love of a lifetime. Chase and Sloane have challenges to overcome to find their way to each other. Heartbreaker is a novel to treasure.

WONDERFUL STORY!
The Chandler boys are all back and Carly Phillips has done a wonderful job with the third book of this series. This is a must read. I really wish Carly would continue the story about Raina and her boys. I love all three books.

I liked the first two better!
I loved the first two, The Bachelor, and The Playboy. I was so excited waiting for the Heartbreaker to come out. I was disapointed. I loved the first two they were very light harded, and the love scenes were fun, but in The Hearbreaker, I the sex started right off the bat, and was there in every chapter after. The story line wasn't as exciting as the first two. I guess I loved the twisted circles those Chandler boys got into, I just felt this one verged on being almost pornograpic. :(

Grat storytelling
Yorkshire Falls Gazette editor Chase Chandler travels to DC to pursue the dream he put on hold two decades ago when his dad died and his two younger brothers and mom needed him. Chase hopes his sibling can help him further his career, but is also annoyed at his brothers for not telling him that their mom faked a heart attack.
NY Senator Michael Carlisle is the front runner for his party¿s vice presidential nomination. His oldest daughter Sloane overhears two campaign aids claim he is not her biological father as a Samson from Yorkshire Falls, NY is. They plan to eliminate Samson before he derails Michael¿s career. A stunned Sloane goes to a bar where she meets Chase. They hit it off and spend a delightful evening of sex, but she is gone in the morning.
Sloane confronts her stepmother who tells her that Samson is her biological dad. Sloane decides to warn Samson that he is in danger from Michael¿s campaign team. Chase meets Madeline, who offers an exclusive interview if he will watch over Sloane. He agrees, but is shocked to learn that Sloane is the same female he shared the best sex of his life with. In Yorkshire Falls is the rest of the story.
Though coincidence is over-used, this warm contemporary tale provides a fine romance that also ties up the trilogy (see THE BACHELOR and THE PLAYBOY). The story line contains two delightful lead protagonists, a bit of intrigue, and a warm secondary cast. Readers will appreciate this series but wonder why something as serious as a heart attack is misused by several of the Chandler brood.
