It was hard to chose my new set of herbal books, but i am tellin

It was hard to chose my new set of herbal books, but i am telling you - this book is my TOP favorite! He is hilarious and fun reading, you just feel like you are right there with him learning while he teaches. He is passionate and LOVES plants! This book is the PERFECT starter book to herbal medicine. He walks you through exactly what supplies you need, all the different ways to use and prepare herbal medicines, herbs and their properties, he gives appendixes of VERY useful information and resources. If there is ONE book you should get  (and there are lots you should get) but if there was ONE... this would be it. I absolutely love it. I reference it ALL the time.  Okay now, i am a Christian and there are some parts of the book that the author gets a little quirky on as far as spiritualizing etc... but I DO think there is definitely a spiritual element to herbal medicine - just not the way he interprets it. God gave us the plants and herbs of the earth to help ourselves and others with the sicknesses that the world experience. How much more spiritual can you get? It is a science and an art... and a spiritual one because it becomes a ministry - literally. Anyways, just my two cents.... LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! LOVE THE AUTHOR!!!! GREAT READING!!!

A very informative book but may not be the best book for beginne

A very informative book but may not be the best book for beginners. Enjoyed the authors wit and writing style. I would recommend Rosemary Gladstar's Medicinal Herbs A Beginner's Guide if you are a beginner to herbal medicine.
