A Model for Ecclesiastical Historians
This History begins at the end of the Public Life of Christ and continues to the great Persecution at the beginning of the fourth century. Eusebius lived c. AD 260-339, and had manuscripts to copy from that are no longer available. This was written long before the canon of the Bible was decided. The richness of the history, the fight against error and heresies, what finally happened to the Apostles, the people and the dates, all very illuminating.
