The first story in this series, B-Team, really impressed me.  A complete story arch, the great beginnings of a series, all in a nice, easy to read package.

I was quite disappointed, then, when the second in the series was 1/4 of the length, and not a story at all, apparently just a setup of things to come.  None of the same characters, none of the action.  A depressing and depressingly short  interlude.

Had the first book not been so good, I probably would have been happier with this one.  But the first set expectations very high, and this second part failed to deliver.

I enjoyed the first in this new series and was excited enough to preorder the remaining episodes. However, the second episode was only 66 pages long. Very disappointed. Perhaps as the story progresses I will change my mind. Perhaps I should have waited until the series was consolidated into only one or two e-books, HMMMM.
