What happens to the cat?

Truly amazing. I loved this book. I've read a few others about arctic expeditions, but this one was the most riveting. This book makes you feel as if you are there. You can really get a feel for what these characters experienced. I was reporting updates to a friend ...
Truly amazing. I loved this book. I've read a few others about arctic expeditions, but this one was the most riveting. This book makes you feel as if you are there. This was a riviting glimps into history.

Reading The Ice Master was like watching a train wreck, you just can't look away or in this case put the book down. The crew was amazing in many ways. Niven worked wonders w/journal accounts of the crew and scientists.
