Awesome! Amazing job! Finally a book for the real person, not the scientist!!

Just heard about this book yesterday on The Talk, read the free sample and I am hooked. I can't wait to read the rest of it. Sara keeps it lighthearted and funny, while bluntly stating what needs to be done! The 'science' represented is broken down so that anybody can understand the material. There are not any formulas or scientific geek speak in the book. This is the best book thus far that I have read regarding the environment, what we can do to save ourselves, and what we can do to try to safe the Earth; all without breaking the bank and selling our souls!! Awesome job Sara Gilbert! Now can you write a book about transitioning from meat eater, to vegetarian, to vegan all while loving what you are eating?? Throwing in many of your favorite recipes along the way would be a much appreciated gift to your followers as well! Thank you Sara for coming up with a way to teach people that can be understood. So much of the information out there is confusing and politically or scientifically motivated. You go hippie girl!

This book is a must-read for anyone even slightly concerned about the future of this planet. It's beautifully organized and effortless to read. I was hooked on the first page when I went to the tap water website and saw that sure enough, there are traces of arsenic and oxycodone in the tap water near my zip code. Sara Gilbert does and amazing job at putting our daily choices into perspective. I recommend buying it so it's always on hand for reference. The good information is endless.

Great book. So relevant and easy to read and humorous too. I learned a lot of things I didn't know and found many solutions to my daily dilemmas of trying to save the environment, raise 2 kids, work and sleep. Highly recommend it - this also makes a great gift!
