    FINALLY

Another good story. Too much cr<_>ap with no plot and no correct grammar recently. This is masterful. You keep us readers guessing by starting your story in the middle. And EXCELLENT SETTING AND FIRST PERSON DIALOGUE. That is what really mad me like this story the most. --Gargamel

Standing on Solid Ground. Chapter One: Running Away.

As they tried to gag me, I fought back. I punched, kicked, slaped, and clawed my way away from the atackers. As I ran in the darkest of the nights, through the foggy air a figure was running toward me. The pursuers followed, slower than before. There were shots and three out of the five went down. I screamed a brisk, loud screetch and kept running. The figure was coming at me, faster. I could start seeing features. It was certinly a male. Around 5'7 maybe, with dark hair that contrasted with his lighter skin. I stumbled once more, and I could hear a familiar voice calling for me. "Tessa! Tess? Tessa!" The person called out. I reconized his voice immeadiatly and ran toward him. "TESS!" He screamed and I turned around. One of the men caught up and was ready to pounce. The long alley-way we were running in was becoming smaller in width, and I could feel the temperature drop. The familiar guy– I knew it was my best friend Jack –Pulled something from his pocket. A few more shots banged out and more pele went down. I locked eyes with Jack, staring him down. My pace grew slower and I reached for his hand, pulling him with me to run. We were running away. It wasnt safe for us here anymore. I flipped up my hood and ran. I kept running until my heart was about to burst once more and my legs ached from pushing myself so much in one night. The bag on my back started feeling heavier and denser as my body began to burn and shiver. I could feel my ears begin to freeze as we ran through the night. I couldn't hear anything besides our loud pants and our feet hitting the ground. I don't know where we we were going, but I only wanted to leave. ((Mleh this one ish bad but its the best I could do. I owed it to y'all! I kept saying I would post it, so here it is :)) Lawl ~Bree))
