    Do NOT buy this book.
    Save your money!

This book is a shame and it is incomplete!

Like many of their books, I'm sorry to say that they leave parts out (Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum did not have the gym puzzles added for instance)

I, like many of you, buy the book for the walk through, hints, or just because you don't want to think and want the game easy and spoon fed to you.
I won't lie. I want the book to tell me what to do. I want it to tell me the puzzles, the everything.
I do not want to waste game time using my phone or booting up my computer like I am right now to finish playing the game.
Instead I am writing a review on how terrible this book is.
I should not be doing this. I should be playing Zelda right now.

So here's the story on this terrible book:

I am 85 pages into the game, which means, I have FOLLOWED the book to the T. I did every last tiny thing, step by step.
I am on the paragraph were it tells me to go back to Link's house and Ravio (A character in the game) should have the Rental Shop up now.
    I go inside to Link's home...NO SHOP.

I flip back in the book, read it more, doubting myself, I had to of missed something.
    Nope.
    Nothing.
    I followed every.....last....step.
And the Shop is not opened.

    So I think, What...the?
At this point, i skip all these side quests the book is trying to make me do. I obviously can't side quest if i don't have bombs that, the book is saying to me that i must RENT from this Shop that doesn't seem to be materializing.

I do the next step...which is finding the blacksmiths kid, got the pouch, and the Shop still has not Materialized.

I'm now skipping past what looks like a lot of the game play to find what I CAN DO since, this book has clearly mislead me.

Instead I came onto the Amazon to help other people save their money.

First off, when you buy the book, you buy it FOR THE WALKTHROUGH. you expect it to be accurate.
This book is not doing that.

SOMEONE at the editorial department must of mixed pages up? Or goofed up and put a part that isn't available yet, as in its a hint to things to come

Second! WHY POST STUFF THAT ISN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN 20 MINUTES INTO THE GAME? MORE LIKE 3 HOURS LATER THEN YOU CAN COME BACK TO THIS?! 9 times out of 10 the book doesn't tell you "now that you have this...go back to page 9..."
I have various Pokemon guides by this company that did that in the walkthroughs. Most of the time, we readers don't remember about that cave, surrounded by lava, that needs to be melted when we are days later into the game, met with multiple others, met with death and tedious frustrations and unfairities in the game. And not just Pokemon. I speak this in truth about any game that this company has put out.
And about the cave with lava, I made that up for a general point, there IS no cave of lava that I know of in Legend of Zelda, A Link Between Worlds.

Seriously. Maybe they typoed in their own book? Maybe they needed to put a "After you catch the Thief come back to Link's House"

That leads up to my 3rd arguement:

WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE CATCH THIS MISTAKE?
Did they not proof read? Don't they have a QA department PLAYING this game, step by step? How can they do this to their buyers and player base by not proofing this?

In the back of the book is a disclaimer so disgruntled buyers cannot sue them. It disclaims the accuracy of the book.
So this means that they don't pay people to QA the book or play through it following the book for accuracy either.
Shoot me now or shoot me later.

I miss Versus Books. Those guys knew how to write a game guide.
I have a feeling Prima's game guide was written by people who don't know what they are talking about.

I buy the book because I don't like to sit at my computer all day with a DS in my hand and look up the information in just a text base. Which I have not been able to find out anything about Ravio's Shop yet. Plus, its not as fast as having the book. I have to go through pages of reviews, gripes, and other things that don't have to do with the game when looking for info on how to beat or how to find or how to unlock ____

I like having visual aids with the book.
I buy the book to support the game company and for the Artwork
I like books as a whole.

I am very unhappy with this book.

I'll go off on one other theory I have: Maybe Nintendo's game is buggy. Pokemon X/Y was bugged at this point in Luminose City where if you saved in the town it could corrupt your save file.
Maybe there's a bug in the game play and the Ravio Shop doesn't unlock after you fly to your house with Irene.
IF that is the case, I will change the review.

But as it stands, right now, I am treating this as the book messed up and I am stuck trying to piece how the game is really supposed to play through.
