    Highly recommended

The Lemon Grove is a rare and fascinating look inside contemporary Iran and shattered families struggling to survive the brutality and destruction of the militant religious regime. Hosseini’s gentle voice speaking through his characters juxtaposes wildly with the desolation and violence of their complicated lives and reveals how civilization prevails through individuals despite the horrors of war. The Lemon Grove opens a much-needed window into the diverse society of Iran, grayed out by political oppression and overshadowed by the explosive violence of TV news reports.

This novel has the strongest first chapter of anything I have read. The narrator wakes up in a situation of his own making but with his life saved only by someone whom he does not know. Why this stranger has spent several days caring for him is only one of the complexities. This is a wonderfully rich tale of one man's complex and confused relationships with himself, his family, his love, and his country. Definitely worth the read.

    Woe

Wonderful. A beautiful rendering of the savage life in Iran. Very exciting but also sad. This book is really worth the read.

At The Gathering: PinefurXRosetail OC fic

Rosetail POV: <p>I followed my Clan leader into the clearing with my head down. How could I have forgotten? I always took th herbs! Now I was in heat. I muffled the scent with my tail but the feeling of my tail brushing against my core didn't help. I sat beside the other Medicine Cat and kept my eyes on my paws. I inwardly sighed as the gathering began the leaders seemed to talk forever when it was finally over my fur prickled with the sensation of being watched. I saw a brown tabby tom watching me and paled, lowering my tail, I hadn't realized I'd raised it! It was Pinefur, ShadowClan's deputy. I pad into the bushes to try and relieve myself and as I walk around the island I'm suddenly jumped on and pinned. I didn't recognize the scent only that it was a tom. Oh no... I struggled harder and then froze as something brushed against my pu<__>ssy. "Quiet." I knew that voice! It was Pinefur! "Pinefur! Get off of-mph." His tail muffled my protesting and he rubbed his love meat against my moist center. I moaned involuntarily and and rubbed back, I growled as he entered me and began thrusting. His barbs hurt! They tore and scraped at my insides but he suddenly his my sweet spot and I purred. "Oh... Pinefur..." I moaned, his belly brushing my back with each thrust. He ground his hips against mine and groaned in pleasure, I could feel his hot pulsing length and I moaned, trying to hump it harder. "Oh please! Please!" I moaned louder and he picked up speed, pushing me forward with each thrust until I was belly up with a tree he grabbed my waist and continued pumping in me. "I'm... I'm gonna... Cu<__>m!" He yowled and spurted his se<__>men inside me and I clamped down on him in my own org<__>asm. We rode out the intense wave of pleasure and I collapsed on the ground in exhaustion.
